Regency Construction Services, Inc. served as Construction Manager at Risk (in Joint Venture) to construct three new elementary schools for Lakewood City Schools which include state-of-the-art classrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and a media center.
Regency served as the Construction Manager at Risk in joint venture for this project. The Lakewood Elementary projects began with the complete abatement and demolition of old outdated schools to provide clear sites for the new buildings. The project was completed as part of a master facilities plan to improve the learning environments for Lakewood students districtwide.
The new Grant, Lincoln, and Roosevelt elementary schools are each 57,000 SF in size and consist of state-of-the-art classrooms with technologically enhanced learning environments. Each new elementary school cost $13 million to build and is supported by a media center/library for interactive learning, a gym, cafeteria, and a stage area. Each site also contains a full exterior playground area for daily recreation activities. Grant, Lincoln, and Roosevelt elementary schools each serve Preschool through 6th Grade students.
Projects were turned over on the original scheduled completion dates.
