By recognizing, understanding, and promoting a diversity of skills and experiences among our staff and subcontractors, as well as the things that shape our identity (e.g. race, age, gender, etc.), we leverage a more robust understanding of our projects and their challenges. Importantly, embracing diversity facilitates effective problem-solving, good teamwork, and strong execution for our clients.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
As a female founded and certified female-owned business, Regency is dedicated to strengthening diversity in the construction industry and in our community.
We put this perspective into practice by hiring and developing minority and female staff members within our own organization and by engaging countless diverse partners and subcontractors in our work. In addition to meeting and exceeding diversity goals and objectives on all Regency-led projects, we seek to engage diverse and minority businesses and staff whenever possible (not just on projects that require their participation). We take pride in our stellar record for diversity, equity and inclusion and we strive to lead the industry by example.
While today Regency is a $50 million dollar enterprise with 80 professional and field staff, we know what it is like to forge a path forward as a small diverse business. That is why as a company we are committed to expanding the construction talent pipeline and to educating our peers to improve access to bidding opportunities for diverse and small enterprises. Through these efforts, we hope to give diverse firms and workers a seat at the table and more access to our industry as a whole.
